Depending on which Kaltenberg you're referring to. Schloss Kaltenberg flies the Wittelsbach one, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wittelsbach_Arms.svg. There are several placenames in Austria and at least one coat of arms: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e3/Wappen_at...
Hi,
I have just recently found out about a Katharine Kaltenberg in my family. She was married to Theodore Kelzenberg. They had one daughter for sure, Cecilia, who ended up marrying Peter Nagel in Cross Plains, WI around 1870. My records show that Theodore died in 1890 and Katharine died in 1891. Other than that, I have little information about this side. Do you recognize any of these names? If not, do you know of anyone who might?

When I read your post I looked to see if I have a connection and I do not. Gerhard Ripp married Katherine Kaltenberg and her parents were Peter and Elizabeth. I have a wedding picture with some identified and those were a brother Jacob and a sister Mary. The picture has many people on it but they are not id. Have you tried any message boards? Try google.com. Sometimes I have found things on that. It takes some looking. If I find anything else I will let you know. good luck. Judy
