I am looking for information concerning my G-G-G Grandfather Patrick Kane. He was born in 1814. I believe he was from Blanchardstown, County Dublin & was baptized there on the 15th April 1815. His father's name was possibly James. I know he left the Port of Londonderry with his wife Bridget "Biddy"(Garvin) who was very pregnant and their two children James & Jane. Their son James was born in 1840 and daughter Jane was born in 1842. The family arrived in New York on 27, June 1850. Biddy had given birth to their son Thomas while they were crossing the Atlantic to the United States. They settled in Philadelphia, PA. Patrick & Biddy's son James is my G-G Grandfather. I have all the history of my Kane family after they reached the U.S.A., but I do not have any information before that time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
