Hello!
Yes, there was many Somppi-families in Ylistaro, for example; Johan Somppi and Maria Michelsdotter(25yrs). Their son Hedvig was born 3.5.1846. I found one Isak Somppi from Ylistaro(born 1879), who migrated to America and Sanna Jemina Somppi(b.1883) who also moved to America.
Actually, if you don´t know this already, here´s a good site to look for ancestors(or atleast I found it useful to locate my relatives):
www.migrationinstitute.fi/migration
-I think there should be some good links!

I just checked www.genealogia.fi/hiski,
to see if there were any Kangaanpää-names in the churchbooks, and there WAS!
I was actually suprised, because I was so sure it was Kankaanpää...Well, anyway:
Most of the Kangaanpää-families lived in the Westside of Finland, in such towns like; Alavus, Ahlainen, Jalasjärvi, Kalajoki, Kristiinankaupunki, Lapua, Loimaa, Perho, Peräseinäjoki, Sievi, Tyrvää and Ylivieska.
Just let me know if you need some help to search some names or something!
