I have been able to locate my great grandmother's immigration record on ellisisland.org. The problem is the name of the town is illegible on the record, and I am unable to locate the city using the name as it is listed by the site.

Has anyone ever heard of Wachorzelewska. It should be somewhere near Krakow. On the actual handwritten record the city looks like Wochorzdsowska. At the time it was written (May 1907) it was listed as Galicy, Poland.

Her name is Katarzyna Kania, born January 25, 1888.
