I am searching for information about my maternal grandfather, Fred or possibly Frederick Kappel. What I was told by my mother was that he was of German heritage - possibly with family ties to Prussia - and was Lutheran. He was a farmer in rural eastern Washington state and died around 1949. His wife's name was Eva and they had four children, Leonard, Gene, Carol and Diane. I do not know his date or place of birth or marriage. Would appreciate any help.
