I am researching my grandfather's family surnames: FRITZ and HEID.

My great grandparents were John Michael and Anna Katherine HEID-FRITZ. John Michael Fritz's parents were Louis and Magdelene DURMER-FRITZ. Anna Katherine Heid was the daughter of Philip and Christine BUEHLER-HEID.

Philip Heid son of John and Mary WAGNER-HEIDT.
Christine daughter of John and Caroline KAPPEL.

I am interested in sharing any information about these families. I have heard many stories over the years that our family lived in the village of Zoar, but am just starting to find factual information. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
