I'm trying to identify this person. The letter was written to Jane and Rolly Hightower in Frost Texas. I suspect she may have been from the Thompson family line. Aunt Jane was a Thompson.

Well Aunt Jane and Uncle Rolly I guess you will be surprised to get a letter from me. I have thought I would write to you to find out whether you was all dead or not. How are you all getting along. How is Ellen and Thula [Rolly Jr wife] and the children and how is everything down there now. I wish I could see you all and talk with you awhile. I know I would enjoy.
I went down to see Ma this summer and stayed a week at Ferris, Tx. They was all well.
Katie & Clara is both working in the telephone office. They get grand wages. They have never married.
Well I married myself and done well. Got a good man & he has plenty. I have a nice home & plenty of everything around. I have been married 2 years. My health is very good & has been for four years. I weigh 160 lbs you would not know me.
Well crops is just fine up here this yer. We have had quite a lot of rain in the last 2 weeks but not enough to hurt anything. I like this country fine. We have a fie climate. It is not as war here as it is down there.
Well I want to know if you can let me have six of those brown leghorn hens and a rooster. I want the full bloods & I can't get them here. I want young hens and rooster. Write me what you want for them & I will send you the money for them and you can express them to me. I can pay the express here when they come & I will be very grateful to you.
If any of the chickens have the colra I can wait a while. I had rather wait until it gets out of them. Well I will close for this time hoping to hear from you soon & all.
