      <description>I am looking for an ancester named Beverly Jane Karabinus *it could have different spellings* She was born in 1921 in Los Angeles Ca , she  was married to James Lee Osko in 1938*or 1939* and she died Nov 15 1996 In dimond springs, placer, california. they had one child that i know of named Gary Lee Osko. James lee and Gary lee Osko are both still living. Beverly was Adopted and so I am having a hard time finding her and her parents. Her adoptive (or at least the people that are believed to be her parents) are George Dayton Humphrys from Louisiana and Margarite Schaffer, from chicago IL. My grandfather came from the island of Skiro and resided in the town of &lt;br&gt;Kymi located on the coast of Evia. As far as I know my greatgrand father was a seaman and also came from the island of Skiro, his name was Stamatis.       <description>Hi&lt;br&gt;My name is Vasso Karabinis Gizikis and I live in Texas.&lt;br&gt;My father was from Crete. The Karabinis name was originated there in the town&lt;br&gt;of Anoyia when my great great great granfathers whose name was Kantanoleon&lt;br&gt;was given a Karabina gun as a gift and from then on he became the captain with&lt;br&gt; the Karabina ,captain karabinias, captain Karabinis.&lt;br&gt;One of the Karabinis brothers left Anoyia in the early 1800;s and went to fight&lt;br&gt;in Souli later. Later some brother went to Mani and some to Kalamata and Korinthos.&lt;br&gt;More bibliography in the battle of Crete. I have paintings and pictures of my&lt;br&gt;anchestors back to the middle seventeen hundreds.The name Karabinis is first&lt;br&gt;registered in a birth certificate in Heraklion Crete in the late 1700.\&lt;br&gt;Comon first names Dimitrios, George, Dionysios, Penelope.&lt;br&gt;Please let me know&lt;br&gt;Vasso Karabinis Gizikis&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
