Hi, I just recently noticed your postaged message and have some information for you. I no longer live in the area, but I was born and raised there and my family still farms near Paswegin.
According to the local person who keeps the Paswegin cementary records, Ole Christopherson was buried in Paswegin by the Jenkins Funeral Home from Wadena on Aug 24 or 28, 1941. The Wadena News has been around since 1908 and may have copies of their old papers from that era. Their email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
. As well, I would think the Saskatchewan Dept of Vital Statistics would have a death certificate on file.
Also, there is mention of him and his daughter's family in the Paswegin History Book written by Thelma McCuish in 1982. It says the his daughter Olive married John Henry Sylvester in 1905 at Finley, North Dakota moving to Canada in 1925 with six children; Omer, Clarence, Judith, Victor, Vernon, and Gordon. One more child Thelma, was born after they arrived in Canada. Ole lived with them until he died in 1941. Clarence joined the army and Victor, Vernon and Gordon joined the air force. Victor went missing in action in 1943 and Clarence was killed in action in 1944. In 1943 the family moved to Moose Jaw where John died in 1947, Olive moved to BC in 1976. Gordon died in California in 1977. Omer died in 1979 at Maple Ridge, BC. Veron and his wife Doris live in Langley BC. Judith Erickson lives in Surrey BC. Thelma McCuish and husband Neil live in Clearwater BC. The history book also has some pictures of the family and military pictures of the four boys. There are no pictures of Ole. If you are interested in getting a copy of the book let me know. It is almost 400 pages long is presently selling for $10 plus shipping.
Hope this information is useful.
