Searching for my grandmother Anna Karasek born 1868 Poland according to my father's birth certificate. Anna married August Groth b.1866 Posen on the 13th February, 1888 in Chicago, Illinois at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Per 1920 Cook County Federal Census August Groth immigrated to United States 1869 and was naturalized 1879. Anna Karasek immigrated to United States 1880. I've not been able to find which ports of entry they came thru yet. Marriage license (no.123544) does not show full names or the names of the parents, just the name of the priest performing the ceremony.

I descend from Edward Groth and Ethel May Price. My parents separated before I was 2 yrs old so I don't know that much about my father's family. My mother was an orphan and she didn't know where she came from. This is why I'm trying to find my ancestors. I want to know who these people are and where they came from.
