A couple of more years gone by.....this info helps....there was some story about my grandfather and a river - my dad couldn't remember what river though and now I can't remember any details to the story.

I have cousins in Timisoara with the last name Karban - this is one of the those needle in the haystacks pieces of info that pulls together just a little more. It's tough with my grandfather leaving Austria before the Austrian borders changed so drastically. The link to Romania so far has been the only verifiable piece of info. Thanks
