I have a bunch of Karge's in my database. They origanate from Prussia. My line goes back to Christoph Karge b. abt 1654 in Ober-Kretschmar, Schlesian, Preussen. and goes to my most recent ancestor Maria Rosina Karge who married a Johann Christian Gottlieb Bluemel 29 Oct 1827 in Pombsen, Schlesien, Preussen. From there all I have is the Bluemel line. Maria is one of 8 children and her sister Johanna Eleonora Karge first married Johann Christian Gottlieb Bluemel in 1823, but died in 1824. Maria Rosina then moved to the USA with some of her children where she died in 1881. She and Johann had 12 children.
