William Max Karle
62, of Oracle, AZ, passed away on August 23, 2005. Bill was born in Tiffin, OH September 19, 1942. He was division manager for Sears in Tucson and later owned the Sears Catalog Store in San Manuel, AZ until it closed. Bill worked for the Outdoorsman Sporting Goods Store and later was manager of the Fast Stop until he retired. Bill will always be remembered for his warm smile, sense of humor and kind heart. He loved animals especially his dog "Korky". One of the biggest enjoyments was his "Thursday Night Liars Club". Bill was a member of the San Manuel Elks Lodge #2007 for 18 years and served two terms as E.R. He will be missed by all who knew him and live in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his companion, Rosalie; daughters, Wendy (Darcy) of Belmont, CA and Cheryl and her sons, Luke and Zack of Balavia, OH; brother, Rudy (Bessie) of Tiffin, OH; sister, Sandy (Tim) Robenalt of Marquette, MI and many cousins, nieces and nephews, which he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Rudy and sister, Marilyn. At his request no services will be held. His final resting place will be at his mountain home over looking the desert he loved. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Post-polio Foundation c/o March of Dimes, 7290 E. Broadway Blvd. Ste I, Tucson, AZ 85710.
