I would be interested on all info regarding the Karpiak family. My grandfather was Ilko (Ulko or Elias) Karpiak (8/5/1891-4/8/1959). His father was Gustav and mother was Mary. IIko did live at 503 Front Street. In fact, my father (Stephan) was born there. IIko was the middle child. The oldest brother was Ned and the youngest was John. I have a copy of John's 7/6/1920 "Declaration of Intention" to become a US citizen. It indicates he was born (1/4/1881)in "Bialawada, Austria" which was part of the Austria-Hungary empire.He emigrated from Rotterdam, Holland, but didn't remember the ship name. He arrived in New York 6/29/1904. His wife was Justina and they lived at 1090 Morton St, Camden, NJ.
