CIRCLEVILLE: Albert E. Karshner, age 90 of Circleville, Ohio (Pickaway County) passed away Friday, February 11, 2011.

Albert was born and raised in Hocking County, Ohio son of the late Bert and Elizabeth Karshner. Also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Albert worked his entire life as both a dairy and crop farming. Working independently throughout the years made Albert become a very strong and resilient man.

He was serious in nature and liked to do things his own way and on his own terms. In his earlier years, Albert enjoyed traveling with his family and always loved family get together and reunions.

He will be missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy; son, Allen (Tina); grandchildren, Harleigh, Teteaunna "Teddi", Sierra, David, and Blake; and many other extended family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2011 at DEFENBAUGH-WISE- SCHOEDINGER, 151 E. Main St., where family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday. Interment Green Summit Cemetery.
