One thing I could tell you is Karwowska is just a fmale version of Karwowski.

My dad was adopted by Klonowski family. His real last name would have been Karwowski. His parents came over from Poland and died in the flu epedimec. All I know is he had several brothers (older then him) and a sister. His sister was a few years younger and was taken back to poland. He was about 9 months old at the time. I believe they orginally were in Erie Pennsylvania and I though his father name may have been Bronislaw (not sure).
