My grandfather, Michael Kaschak, immigrated to the USA in the late 1800's. He came to his father who was already in Jesssup, PA. With Michael, came a brother. I don't know his name. That brother somehow was "lost" from our history. Also, Michael's father's history is a bit obscure. Appartently, there was some falling out but I know he is buried in Jessup where he worked in the mines. My grandfather, Michael, brought a wife from Slovakia. She died early after bearing 2 children, Michael and Mary. Both who are still living and are my aunt and my uncle. Michael moved to Binghamton, NY after his wife died, and married my grandmother, Mary Chavalcak Bobrick. Thus, I am named after my grandmother. Do you know the name of the town your grandmother came from? Was it Vesy Jablonka? That is where the Kaschak's in my family originate? Please include your email in your next posted msg. Thanx.
