Hi,

I wish to advise that my great grandfather was David Kasofsky (born 1885 Bialystok) and he emigrated with his wife Sarah Levene (born 1881) in about 1901 to live in England. They had 5 children, one of which died at an early age. I would really like to hear from you!
Kind regards
Sue Davis

Joseph's first wife was Anna and they had 4 children, Samuel, Sophia, Maurice and Pearl. They were part of the Cotopaxi Colorado agricultural Colony. Anna passed in 1884.

Larry,
I think there might be a true connection between our Kasofsky families...My mother's grandmother was Fanny Kasofsky. Fanny was the second wife of Joseph Nudelman. Fanny and Joseph had four children together: Hymen, Robert, Dora, and Louis. Robert was my grandfather...He was born in 1888 in NORTH DAKOTA. Fanny and Joseph were true pioneers. They were part of a Jewish Colony (which traveled by wagon to Wellington, Nevada to farm, ultimately ending up in Portland, Oregon). Fanny died in Portland, Oregon is 1938. Do you have any further information about Abraham's and Fanny's parents? I don't have anything going back further than Fanny...
Kind regards,
Amy Gantman

My great grandfather was Davis Kasofsky from Bialystok in Poland (previously part of Russia). He left Poland in about 1900 with his wife Sarah (Levene) and emigrated to England.

Don't know if he had any other relatives.

Lynn:

My mother's grandfather, Abraham Kasofsky, had a sister Fanny. They both emigrated to the US around the 1880s, but ended up in North Dakota and eventually Duluth, Minnesota. Don't know who she married. However, Abraham married Ida, who had a son Louis Kasofsky and a daughter Bertha. Louis was my grandfather. Don't know if this matches your family info, but if it does, send me a reply!

Larry Weisenberg

I am researching my family tree.
My Great-Great-Grandmother was Fanny Kasofsky married to Josef/Joseph Beckenstein from Russia (I don't know where). They had three daughters and immigrated to New York.
Tamara, Ida and Frieda.
I will happily share any information I have with you!
-Lynn (Metchek) Miner
