I am looking for relatives and information for Frank and Amelia Derrer Kasper, my wife's family. Amelia came over on the SS Aragonia 8-17-1899 with her 4 yr old son Frank Jr. b. May 1896 and little sister Hermina Derrer b. Aug 1887. Records list them fom Budapest, sometimes Austria-Hungary depending on census record. I believe Frank came over the year before but I have not found the record yet but he was already stateside.

The Kaspers went back and forth from Philadelphia and Texas throughout their lives.

I've seen Frank listed as Franz. I've seen Kasper and Kaspar for spellings. I've seen Amelia listed as Emilia, Emilie and Emma on one census. I've seen both Derrer and Derer for spellings. The family ended up in Corpus Christi Texas in final days. Frank Sr. died 1935, Frank Jr. became a priest.

Other children I have are Emma b. abt 1901 and Mary b. 1903 (my wife's grandmother).

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
