For background my branch of the family emmigrated to the U.S from Bremen to Quebec an then to Milwaukee Wi. finally settling in northern Manitowoc County Wi. in July of 1865. They originated in a village area named Jatser per their naturalization papers. The patriarch of the branch is Ferdinand KASTEN. His wife was Caroline Kohl and they had three sons. Friedrick, Albert and Otto. I am descended from Friedrick.
