Johann Balthasar "Schmidt" Kastner emigrated from Koenigsbach, Baden Durlach, in 1753 to Broad Bay (now Waldoboro) Maine. I am the 7th generation in direct descent.
Branches of the family went to North Carolina (with the Moravians), to Wisconsin and to California.
I'm eager to correspond with possible "cousins." I have a
