Hi. My name is Dragan Zakic, and I live in New Zealand. My mother's maiden name is Katanich. I was born in Yugoslavia, and I am sure Katanich is a Serbian last name. I know that a relative of ours named Mitch Katanich lives in Chicago, Illinois. Unfortunately, I am not in regular contact with them.

I am trying to find out about my grandfather
George Katanich he died at the age of 47 and the year was around 1936
My mother does not no much about him because she was nine years old when he past away.
He had a son name Frank,and a daughter named Mary Lou, and anothe daughter named Marge
He lived in Oglesby Illinois when he died
No one knows in my fdamily about him or next of Kin. They keep telling me he came over from the old country
I would really like to know moe about my grandfather. If anyone can help me out.
