Gramps was born in russia or Poland in 1889, came to the us on dec 26,1911, From Latvia, had a cousin in Brooklyn, NY .. Next known location was west virginia he was a coal miner in the Island Creek Cole Mine Possibly #22... He Maried my Grandmother Agnes Czubak in oct of 1924 in logan county west virginia . they had 5 children william, virginia, john, mary, and dolores ..Agnes had 2 children from a previous marriage to Michael Pieklo.. Alfred and Josephine. They moved to brooklyn in 1940. anyone?????

I'm not sure yet how all these names fit in my family but Arentje was my great grandmother. I assume her maiden name was Kruzinga, she married Katt, and later married Streeting. I'm still trying to fit it altogether but it isn't easy. I have some info coming from a great aunt I found in New York so maybe that will help. I don't know if she had children by her first marriage or not. If you have her name in your records, would you please let me know? She married Walter Streeting and her birthday was 3-17-1860. William had to come from somewhere though.

I am looking for the parents of this person. He was born in Jersey City in 1896 and lived in Brooklyn, NY. He was Lutheran and served in the army during WW 1 as a machine gun instructor. Died in 1974. Married Marian Wirenska. Thanks.
