Surnames: Kates/Ayars/King/McCallister/Sheppard
Just wondering if any of my Kates could fit with yours. Abner Kates, (born abt 1857), married Amy Ayars abt. 1909. Issue: Frank A. Kates,( b. abt. 1885, married Rebecca Smith King and Oakford Kates (born abt 1880), married Lottie McCallister. Abner's brother, Alfred S. Kates, (b. abt 1859), married Ellabedia Sheppard. Issue: James B., Walter, Ellabedia, Samuel Sheppard, and Clayton W.(died in 1911). Abner Kates line settled in Salem Co NJ area.
