I am researching the decendents of this couple. Johannes KAUFMANN was born 20-Apr-1849 in ?eingarten/Pfk Germany (can't read the handwriting) and died 8-Dec-1908. He was married to Charlotte UNKNOWN, born 28-Aug-1847, died 15-Sep-1915. They had four children;

Karl KAUFMANN, b. 10-Feb-1878 in Heidelberg, Germany, d. Dec-1941 in Baden-Baden, Germany.

Johanna KAUFMANN, b. 2-Dec-1882 in Karlsruhn, Germany, d. 23-Oct-1957.

Anna KAUFMANN, b. 10-Nov-1883 in Karlsruhn, Germany, died (no date) in Lake Placid, New York, USA.

Johannis KAUFMANN, b. 28-Jul-1887 in Karlsruhn, Germany, died 10-Aug-1952 in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA. Johannis is also known as "John" and "Hans", he married Emma Augusta LAUTERBACH (b. 23-Feb-1891, Berlin, Germany), settled in Farmington, Michigan and had four children;

John Albert KAUFMANN (1912-?)
William Walter KAUFMANN (1915-1976)
Emma Charlotte KAUFMANN STARKS (1920-1988)
Winifred Dorothy KAUFMANN BLAIR (1922-1981), and
Beverley Marilyn KAUFMANN (1933-2001).

I would like to find out more information on Johannis' Mother & Father as well as on his siblings. My information on Johannis & Emma's oldest sons, John & William, is also sketchy and I'd like to fill that out.
