Geneva Pauline Kauth, 89 a resident of Fredonia, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation center in Fredonia.
She was born in Cimarron, May 31, 1911 tp Rev. Leroy F. and Hulda R. (Andrew) Upshaw, and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1930.
On Sept. 16, 1934 she married Olin Kauthin in Fredonia, and he survives at their home in Fredonia.
She was a member of the Neodesha Nazarene Church were she taught children's Sunday school classes for many years. She belonged to the Bell Unit and to Farm Bureau.
Survivors in additiona to her husband are one daughter, Marilyn Pauline King of Fredonia; one son, Richard Olin Kauth of Neodesha; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 at the Timmons Funeral Home, Fredonia. Rev. Herb Heavner will officiated. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and the family will recieve friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Neodesha Nazarene Church or to Beverly Health and Rehabilitation in Fredonia.
