I am also serching for information about my dads relatives. My grandfather Samuel Rudolf Kazen´s parents lived in England. Hersh Kazansky (b10 may 1882) and Rebecka Rakel K (Elberg). Hersh had brothers who moved to USA Joshua Shav Rosh. Their parents Hiam Abbe Kazansky and Sara Malki K moved from Sirotine, Vitebsk in Russia( now Belarus) to Israel.This is what I know but I want to know more. Hersh took the name Harry Key in England. My grandfather Samuel Rudolf took the name Kazen. He married Jane Söderberg in Sweden.They got two boys and we are now a lot of children and grandchildren livig in Sweden. Agneta Kazen

All Kazantzas are from Aetos.
Kazantzas means someone who made it $$$$$$.
Some one who "kazantnise", Made something for himself.

The name before Kazantzas was Mourtzinos.

Mourtzinos was from Kostantinoupoli,moved to Mistra (Sparti) and latter to Aetos.

Hi Nicole i think we are third cousins...My grandmother and your grandfather were first cousins...On my fathers side...My father passed away for a accident but my mother who is also from aetos knows your family...also my fathers brothers and sisters are here in San Francisco...

I live to Belgium, my father came from Aetos ( Messinia).
His name is Kazantzas Spyridon, he live also to Belgium , his brother Dimitri live always to Aetos and your sister Maria and Panayota live also to Greece. My grandfather is Nicolaos
Kazantzas and my grandmother is Kabouk Evropi. I know, my grandfather have familly to USA and Australia, and Zuid Africa.

Searching for information on my GG Grandfather and/or my GGG Grandparents. My GG Grandfather Joshua Simon Kazan was born on Feb. 7. 1874 in Serotina, Russia, he immigrated to Palestine/Israel then to UK and then to USA. I have made contact with relatives in UK. My GGG Grandparents settled in Jerusalem. Name Chaim Abba Kazansky and Sarah Kazansky. Brothers of my GG Grandfather Joshua settled in Virginia and NY.

Hello I live in San Francisco my Mom and Dad are from Aetos
Messina. My Fathers mother was a Kazantzas. Her name was Kostadina Kazantzas, born 1908. Anything you want to know about our village and the family please ask. We might even be related.

Hello, I wanted to write and say that my father, George Kazantzas and his mother (my Yia Yia) Sara Kazantzas came from the same part of Greece and my Yia Yia came around the same time. It will be the 10th anniversay of my fathers death and we are having a birthday party for him in November to celebrate him and tell stories. Hi, yes we did shorten our name. My birth cetificate says Kazantzas. Aetos is where my father is from, he was born here, but his mom was born in Aetos. My fathers full name is George Louis Kazantzas.
