I am trying to find the area of Ireland where my Keanes originated. I am guessing that the name Keane is found all over the country, but is there one county, more than others, where I could start looking?

I am trying to find Malachy Keane who came from Ireland (born about 1837) and settled in San Francisco, CA. I have no idea where to start looking in Ireland to find his parents or siblings.
