While visiting Argentina with my wife, I asked my wife's Aunt who in her family was Irish. Her aunt mentioned her great grand mother who moved to Buenos Aires. Her maiden name was Kearn. She married an Italian man in Argentina when she was 13.I can find out more if you are interested.

My great grandfather and grandmother Kearn had a son named Emmett who died as a toddler. I wonder if he was named after an ancestor, and thus connected to your Emmitt Kearn.

Edward Cantabury or Canterbury Kearn's family immigrated from Ireland to Canada/New York. My Edward was b. 1862, homesteaded and died in Missouri, a borther went to Kansas I believe.

I would be interested in hearing from you about your kearn ancestry.

Searching for Erna (Anna) Kearn (or Kearns). She is from Germany and was married to my uncle John H. Smith. He was killed in the Korean War and is bured in Arlington Cemetery. They had no children. She remarried another serviceman and they had a couple of daughters and a son named Jon. My mother used to correspond with her in the 1950's and 1960's. Just wondered what happened to her. Thx.

I don't believe I have a record of a Scerena being Patrick's daughter. James had a daughter named Serena though. I would love to swap info with you!

Lisa
