Sorry I spelt it wrong, it should be "Nanno", it is a female Irish first name and a Dutch male firstname, I do not know if it is an abbreviation or a stand alone name. The head of the Presentation order of nuns was called Nano.
I have put a message up on the general board, I might get a reply. It is Greek for small. I do not think it is connected to Elizabeth, Beth, Liz, Lizzie etc.
