My grandfather John was a tailor in Manhattan, NY He said he came from assorted places at different times Thurles, Curraheen, Drumboo. I have heard he came to New York with a Brother who worked in insurance but we do not have a name. I have found citizen papers, census reports with my father, Stephen, and a marriage certificate with anna simmons although she always said her maiden name was fitzsimmons.
