Joseph M. and Carrie Bates were married about 1890; he was married before and had several children with his first wife and several with Carrie. In 1910 they were living in Lewiston, Idaho and by 1914 were in Portland, Oregon. He was born in Indiana and was a lawyer. She was born in Providence on Sept. 23, 1877. She later married E.A. Crouchley and lived in Hollywood, Ca. I am desperate for more information on both people. Thank you.
