I just want to let people know that there is a very active Key/Keys/Keyes/Kea/Kee Y-DNA Surname Project underway on Family Tree DNA.

There are already 27 participants and more would be welcome.

There are participants from all over the world including Northern Ireland, USA, Canada, and Australia.

From this Y-DNA Project I have learned that I likely have a family connection back to County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It's been a very exciting discovery experience for me.

I know a lot of people are still uncomfortable with the idea of DNA testing but I have been involved for almost a year now and for me the experience has been all positive and no negatives. I can't imagine having an interest in genealogy and not doing this.
