I am looking for other descendants of John Silas Kee, born Oct. 20, 1819(?), died Jan. 11, 1867. Married Pricilla Culp. He servedas a JP in Tuscomba Alabama and is buried in Russelville. I have information on several branches of his descendants, mostly those descended from his son, Jefferson Davis Kee, born April 16, 1861. Most of these were in Texas.

Researching the ancestors and descendants of the Thomas Kee family that came from Cork County Ireland and settled in Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois. Thomas Kee was married to Jane Kilpatrick in Ireland and came to the United States sometime in the late 1840's as their names appear in the 1850 Morgan County, Illinois census record.It was noted in the obituary of Jane Kee that she was the mother of 9 children. I can account for 7. John b: August 19, 1840, d: April 3, 1920; Jane (Jennie) b: December 18, 1843 d:June 13, 1924; Thomas b:1847/48 d:January 1872; William b:1850; James b:1856 d:June 1876; Margaret b: 1858 d: Dec 1873; Frances Elizabeth b:June 1, 1861 d:June 3, 1942. John Kee is my Grandfather. He married Malinda Jane Johnson and he and his family moved to Richardson County, Nebraska in the summer of 1886. Looking for information on William Monroe Kee and Alabama "Allie" Kee. Will was born October 20, 1861 in Alabama and his sister Allie was born July 4, 1863. Allie was born in a covered wagon en route to Arkansas from Alabama. Their father was in the Civil War and was killed the day Allie was born - their mother died 2 yrs later. Will and Allie settled in Yell County AR and were Cherokee (about half). Will married at least twice - once to Lizze Cope and had six children (could be more). Allie married Isreal P. Moore of Waveland, AR and settled there. Isaac died before 1912, most likely still in eastern Kentucky. Genoa married John W. Thompson; thie son John Walker Thompson was my grandfather.

Is there anyone who could help me with a question?
My ggrandfather Mathew James Kee immigrated to the US via the New York coast of Lake Erie, from Ballynahinch, County Down, Ireland. I do not know if he spent time in Canada. I found new information (to me it is new) that during the civil war young men where taken from the ships and were made to sign up to fight in the war.
How can I find his name in civil war records as having served?
I have record of him 1863 and then not until 1870 when he shows up in Erie, Penn. as owning property and working for the LS&MS railroads.

Looking for any information on a Josephine Key (spelled that way on her son's death certificate) - my grandfather Robert L Miller. also listed is his father Levi Daniel Miller, I cannot find anything, anywhere on anyone!! My Grandfather was born 10 Sep 1910 in NLR, AR. I have heard he had a brother James and a sister Charlotte( married a Venable) and a sister Mattie (married a Marshall) I have tried the census and nothing! I do not know where his family hails from whatso ever. I have heard they the Millers were originally from PA. Moved to the England, Lonoke Co., AR and surrounding areas & counties.
Also my grandfather Robert Lee or Lewis Miller married 1st a Helen Hill, from Madison Co. she died at age 18 in 1937 when my father Bobby Joe Miller was only 4 months old. Any clues, no matter how small,- I would greatly appreciate.

Adolphus K Kee born 8/1888 Tn married Alvera Nordan born abt 1902 Alvera had a sister named Pearl Nordan who died in 1930 leaving behind a son JP Forrest, I am told that Adolphus and Alvera (Vera) raised him.
I am Looking for any one who might know of this. I found them in the 1930 census but JP Forrest wasn't listed with them. Some where between when Pearl died JP was shifted around. He isn't with Pearl in 1930 or Adolphus in 1930 or Pearls mother either. I have all the information needed on JP Forrest's family but am wondering about his mothers side.

Ann Kee who was previously married to Sam Crane and had children Lucy/Lucille Crane-Andrew, James and Allan Crane. She was married to James Kee who was born in Mississippi. According to the 1880 Kaufman Texas census, James

Her hobbies included exercising, weight training, traveling, and painting. She loved humor and most of all her children. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. I am looking for Claude Kee's Cherokee Indian roll number for the reservation in Oklahoma. Claude died July 4th 1918; he was 34-36 years old when he died of Pneumonia.
Claude married a women named Ella whom later remarried a Houston.
Claude and Ella had a child together of the name Viola May Kee. Viola married Gilbert Leo Atterberry.
Gilbert Atterberry had a honorable discharge from the service.
Ella is believed to have died before 1948.
Ella had children with her new husband (Houston) also. One of there children Ella Houston had with her new husband was named Leona("Lonnie")
Ella's madien name is unknown to me but would like to have it if anyone knows it.
Would also like to know her new hubands first name and middle if avaliable.
Viola Atterberry (Kee) was born May 29, 1918 and died Sept. 18, 1988 in Pekin, Illinois.

We have been unable to locate information on siblings or parents of WILLIAM KEE/KEY born February 09,1850, possibly in Chillicothe, MO. William died April 20, 1932, in Stevenson WA. He married Mary Angeline Hickey.
Also can not find information on G.B. KEY, possibly born about 1830, and known to have been in Chillicothe,MO. We have a picture signed by G.B.Key with the stamp of Dunlap Studio in Chillicothe, MO.
