Hi,

We are from St. Augustine Florda and we are kind of stuck tracing a husband and wife back to England.

We are looking to find out where a Thomas Henry Keegan (b. 1869) and his wife Elizabeth J. (b.1869) lived in England, parents names, where they were born, married, died and are buried. We believe they raised a nephew Charles Keegan (b. 25 Sep 1902 d. 04 Jan 1983) of Coventry, England.

Thomas & Elizabeth Keegan made many trips to America and lived there for a number of years.

Is there a way to look up their last return voyage in late 1920 (see below) to England to see where Thomas and Elizabeth lived in England? Was it Coventry? Is there a way to find out when they died, where they are buried and if Charles is buried there too? Is there a way to find the obituary for Charles?

WE HAVE A BUNCH OF DETAIL...

Name: THOMAS H. KEEGAN (b. 1869) - Shipping Clerk

Wife: Elizabeth J. (b. 1869) married 1897.
Brother: Alfred W. Keegan (b. 1866) - Shipping Clerk
Sister: Catherine Keegan (b. 1865) - Teacher
Nephew: They raised Charles a nephew (b. 25 Sep 1902 d. 04 Jan 1983) of Coventry, England

TIMELINE

1869 - Thomas was born in Ireland or England
1892 - Thamas (22) first came to America per 1900 US Census
1897 - Thomas (28) married to a Elizabeth J. (28) who came to America that same year.
1897 - Thomas and wife were Naturalized in City of Corning, New York, USA on Oct 5.
1900 - They lived at 64 Pleasant St, Corning, New York
1900 - Thomas, his wife & his sister Catherine (age 35), came to Corning on the "Oceanic" Sep 20.
1905 - Thomas, came back to Corning via the "Caronia" Aug 23.
1905 - Elizabeth came to Corning with a Nephew Charles (age 3) on the "Oceanic" Dec 4.
1912 - Alfred W. Keegan (age 40) a brother, came to Corning with his family to live with Thomas.
1920 - Thomas and wife Elizabeth came to Corning via the "Caronia" from Tilbury London Nov 10.

Apparently the Nephew (Charles) was one of twin sons of Alfred W. Keegan the brother of Thomas.
There are US Census records for Alfred and his family who stayed in Corning. There are no US Census records for Thomas and Elizabeth after 1900, which make us believe they moved back to England. The Nephew Charles died in Coventry England on Jan 4, 1983. We believe he was adopted or raised by Thomas and Elizabeth.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers from Florida!
