Re: Keirle's of Othery.
Hello Peter,
I think I may also be descended from the ame William Keirle as yourself, but as the Othery Parish Records have some significant gaps towards the end of the 17th Century, I am not 100% certain. I am sure of my ancestry back through Stoke St Gregory in the 18th century to a single couple - Arthur and Joan Keirle. The only 'Arthur baptismal events' that I can find in the surrounding parishes are in Othery so I have retracked my ancestral thread there. I would appreciate any guidance you can give me in relation to people of Othery in the 16th and 17th centuries that may help me be more certain that I am on the right trail. My email address is jackieharri@blueyonder.co.uk.
