Hello Genealogists. I am Chris Daniel Keiser, a great, great, great grandson of Daniel Keiser (1820-1877) and Amanda Zerby (1832-1906). I am seeking information about my ancestors and relatives.
My great, great aunt Olive Rebecca Keiser (Aug. 2, 1895 – before 2000) f: Daniel Keiser (1857 –1905)) had done extensive research on the Keiser’s, Kimmel’s, Fisher’s, Nace’s and others, and had traced the Keiser’s back to the late 1600’s in Keiserslautern, Germany. Unfortunately, her work was either lost or destroyed and that information is lost forever.
In my possession though, is a book hand written in 1924 by Olive’s uncle, Henry Keiser (1840-1933), which outlines the families of Philip Keiser and Eve Zimmerman. However, his work is inclusive only through about 1925. I seek information to continue his work, and, to confirm the information set forth by him. I have noticed mistakes and uncertainties, and my own research has produced some minor discrepancies, and a few sizable ones too.
The Keiser’s moved all over the country, including Arkansas, California, Delaware, Indiana, Kansas, Ohio and West Virginia. How far away from your roots in Lykens, Dauphin Co., PA are you?
