I have been doing a little reading online regarding the Kellis family, and I believe we might be second cousins. My mother's oldest sibling is Floyd Kellis Sr., son of Howard Clarence Kellis and Esta Kellis.

My cousin, Frances, has done a pretty thorough genealogy of the family, and I have a copy of it if you are interested. I also have a photograph (portrait) of my grandmother, Esta if you are interested. I live in Florida, and I have one other first cousin here in Florida that I know of . . . Jonas Sams, born Dale Kellis, son of Robert Kellis of Troy Ohio, a sibling of Floyd Sr.

As I recall, Floyd's siblings were Dora, of Sabina, Ohio (deceased); Clarence (deceased before I was born); Bertha (Nace) of Sabina, Ohio - deceased; Lola (Lemon) of Hillsboro, Ohio - deceased; Zelma (Mercer), formerly of Sabina, now living in Kentucky; Charles (Rod), living in Hillsboro, Ohio; Robert, of Troy and Dayton, Ohio - deceased; Alice (Fague), of Dayton - deceased, and my mother, Donna June (McMackin), of Powell, Ohio.
