John Kellis
John M. Kellis of Oak Street in Sault Ste Mariee passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois. He was born on October 6, 1950 in Sault Ste Mariee.
He was a member of the Sault Ste Mariee Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
John is survived by his wife, Carol (Cartwright) Kellis of Sault Ste. Marie; a son, John William Kellis of Sault Ste. Marie; two daughters, Lisa (Fred) Perry of Sault Ste Mariee and Jami (Joe) St. Onge of Kinross; two grandchildren, Alexandra Perry and Jordan Perry; and a special friend, Louise Ison, also survives.
He was predeceased by a sister, Rhonda (1987) and his parents, John P. and Delores (McDonald) Kellis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home. Memorial Services will follow at 12 noon with Deacon William Piche officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Center of America.
