We have heard from our family history told by our grandmother that she was connected to the Kemble acting family.
My grandmother Katherine Louise Kemble was born in 1879 in the Parish of St. Annes Soho London.
Her father was a James Kemble born in 1853, in the parish of St Andrews
Her mother was born Maria L Callaghan in 1851 in St. Giles London.
This was another story in the family that there was a connection with Sir Henry Irving the Actor, who married a person called Callaghan.
So we have a Kemble and a Callaghan both connected with these actors.
