Hello, My name is Mindy Kenard. I'am from Ohio. I seen you are a Kenard and are looking for anyone with the same last name. I do know that I have a brother through my father, But we do not know him. I dont know much about the Kenards myself. I do have a full brother, two halfs and the one we dont know who is also a Half. I am looking for any info on Martha J. Kenard, born about 1844 in Texas, her parents, names unknown, born in North Carolina. Middle name may be Jamima. The Kenard's moved to Texas, date unknown, Martha married Frederick Jones Makeig about 1870-1870. The only known census form I could find was the 1880, Antelope, Jack County, Texas form that her name appears on. Any info on a Martha Kenard in your line would be appreciated. Thanks, Audrey

I am trying to find ancestors of Kenard KENDALL born in Stafford Co., VA, Jan. 19, 1805, who with his brother Thompson KENDALL born July 19, 1799, arrived in Conecuh County, AL, before 1840. Both appear on the 1840 Conecuh County, AL, census and both married, had children and died in Conecuh Co.,AL. I have been unable to find their parents and am hoping that perhaps KENARD is a family name that was passed on to the younger of the two. Does he show up on anyone's database? my last name is kenard i have a brother named bob we were born and raised in ohio. i also have cousin named robert. do you know any other family members names or where thy are from? my father is kenard his fathers name is lynn lee kenard he had a brother named zane . my ggrandmothers named nell kenard she lived in fort smith ARK. contact me if you wish we may be related.

Looking for info on George and Leah (?) Kennard. Were they from Pennsylvania orginally? They lived in Michigan. Daughter Anna Harriet Kennard married Wm.J. Martin.in Canada, had family of 7 children. Any info will be appreciated.

It would help me to know what ethnic group you belong to. One of my ancestors came from Cape Verde Islands in the 1800's as an indentured servant. His name was pronounced "Kenerds" and he changed it to Bradford. I am not sure of the spelling. He was Portuguese and part black and he looked Columbian or Hispanic, according to pictures. Kinniard Kinard are of French extraction. Can you tell me what your father looks like or if he has ever said where his ancestors came from?
