I need help in my researching of Abraham KENDALL who was in Washington Township, Clay County, Indiana 1850 census as Abe KINDLE age 24 born North Carolina, with his wife Genetta (age 18) and son Allan (1/2 year) both born in Indiana.

1860 they are near Point Isabel in Green Township, Wapello County, Iowa, listed as Abraham KINDALL (32), Janetty (27), Allen R. (10), James M. (5 - born in Iowa) and Samuel (4- born in Iowa).

1870 they have a P.O. of Ottumwa in Green Township, Wapello County, Iowa, and listed as Abram KENDALL (44), Jenette (38), Allen R. (20), James M. (15), Samuel (14), William J. (10 - born Iowa), Van Buren (7- born Iowa), Ellen J. (3 - born Iowa), and Jacob B. (1 - born Iowa).

1880 census of Green township, Wapello County, Iowa we find A. KINDAL age 56 and a widower, and listed with him are sons Jacob (age 11) and Charles K (age 7 - born Iowa).
