Surnames: Kenedy, Flores
Tomas Kenedy and Antonia Flores had a daughter Cesarea Flores (who was probably illegitimate because Cesarea took the mother's surname) during the second half of the 1800's somewhere in South Texas. Cesarea is my great-grandmother.
I assume that Tomas is related to Mifflin Kenedy after whom Kenedy County was named. Can you verify?
On the other side of my family, I am the great-great-great grandson of Bernardo Flores who was granted (by the state of Tamaulipas) El Infiernillo in Nueces County in November 18, 1835. Five and one-half sitios of land, about 23,000 acres.
