Our Kerch family had shortened their name from Kerchenski to Kerch. But only a few of the relatives have done this. I have taken the name back to an "August Kerchenski" whom came over from Prussia born in Aug of 1844. His 5 children are Joseph, Stan, Frank, William and Mary. Our Kerchenski's were traced back to Duncan Twnshp, PA or Cambria PA. Many live in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio now.
