John S. Kerekes, born 19 January 1908 in Panyok, Hungary, son of Istvan and Anna (nee Juhasz) Kerekes, died 8 March 2000.
Retired from U.S. Steel Lorain Works; served in the U.S. Army during World War II and earned a Bronze Star while in battle in Germany.
Survived by his wife of 38 years, Margaret (nee Csehi); stepsons Joseph Zsigray of Elyria, Eugene Zsigray of Wakeman, Ohio and Robert Zsigray of Barrington, NH; and a brother in Panyok, Hungary.
Preceded in death by parents; a stepson, Steve Zsigray; and sisters Rose and Margaret.
