FUNERAL NOTICES.
The funeral of J. B. KERFOOT, who died yesterday morning,
will be held at 10 o'clock Sunday morning from the family
residence, 2452 Wabash avenue. Services will be conducted
by Dr. COMBS, after which the Masons will take charge of
the body.
Mr. KERFOOT was formerly a live stock commission man
at the Kansas City stock yards, but has lately been
connected with the City National bank. His sickness was
of about five weeks' duration and was very severe.
Mr. KERFOOT was a man of exemplary character and his
death will be deeply mourned by his host of friends in
Kansas City and elsewhere.
He leaves a wife and five children. His son, Lieutenant
Benjamin H. KERFOOT, of the United States regular army
and now stationed at Fort Monroe, Va., is also well known
in Kansas City and is expected home to his father's funeral.
