I am updating my research regarding the parentage and ancestry of Michael Kern, Sr., born c. 1740, Holland, who migrated to America and eventually resided in PA and then Morgantown, (West Virginiaa. Wives were (1) (widow) Susannah Christina Wetterholt and (2) (widow) Barbara (Weedman)Riffle. Does anyone have additional research regarding the parentage and family of Michael Kern? Also, is there reliable research on the common ancestry to the Kern families of PA? Were these families related; inter-related? Additional information much appreciated.
