Jesse was born abt 1862 but I do now know where. He came into Scotland County NC in a wagon as a merchant according to oral tradition and married my grandmother Ellen Clark and fathered a number of children among whom was my father Clyde Kerns. I am trying to find out from where he came and who his father was. Does anyone know anything about him?
