Hello, I am an indirect descendant of Rosa Lee (Kerr) Scegraves. Her brother Clay Witten Kerr was my grandfather. Yes, Rosa Lee was married to Robert Scegraves (they called him "Bob"). They had one child, Margie Scegraves. Margie passed away several years ago in Stockton, California and is interred in Lodi, California. I did not get a chance to meet her in life, but I spoke at length to the lady who took care of her estate after Margie passed away. She told me that Margie never married and did not have any children.
I'm sorry I can't help you with the Scegraves side of the family. That part of the family lived in El Paso and later Margie moved to California, while the rest of the Kerrs lived in Oklahoma, so nothing of the Scegraves information survived with my group, except to note the spelling of the name and lack of information on Bob's family. So now I know a little more about that!
I'm sorry I can't help you with your primary quest. Good luck.
Melanie (Kerr) Lawrence
