John Fredrick Kerr, age 68,
passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008, peacefully at his home
He was born on June 11, 1940 in Titusville
and lived the last 38 years in Erie,
with his wife, Julie, and his children. John worked in sales for CA Curtze Co since 1978, enjoying his work as much as his private time. You could always find John caring for his lawn, playing the lottery, BBQing with family and friends and enjoying the view from his front porch. Everyone who knew John knew they would find him at home cheering for the Steelers on a Sunday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Martha Kerr, and his sisters, Mary Kerr and Annette Sabad. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 34 years, Julie DiPasquale Kerr, his brother, Bruce (Lynda), sisters: Isabelle (Paul) Dillon, Pauline Smith, Dorothy Burns (Don) and his children: John Jr. (Rochelle), Tina Lynn Brown, Christina Celetti (Mike), Jeff Cass (Laura), Kelly Jo Kerr, and Melissa Aquino (Mike). His twelve grandchildren who brought such joy to his life will also truly miss their Granddad.

at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday for prayers at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace R. C. Church at 10:00 a.m. Private interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
